Blue Waters Lodge

Julie and Iain were very hospitable. Rooms lovely and clean, serviced well with a selection tea and coffee and fresh milk. Beds very comfortable. The breakfast was superb, variety of cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries and fresh fruit. Location was a couple of minutes from the beach, restaurants. Will definitely return.

Absolutely first class B&B. Julia and Iain wonderful hosts absolutely nothing too much trouble. Lovely breakfast, lots of lovely little touches in bedroom. Treated like friends. Would highly recommend .

We have stayed here 3 times and it is absolutely superb in all respects and Julia and Iain are the perfect hosts. We have already booked 2 stays for next year. If we could give more than 5stars we would.It was our 55 year wedding anniversary and was made more special being in this lovely place and with our hosts and now our friends Julia and Iain.

We have just returned from a perfect weekend. It was our second visit to Blue Waters and Julia and Iain welcomed us back with open arms, a spotless room, gorgeous breakfast and for my birthday, banners, a bottle of prosecco and a song at breakfast. Absolutely made my weekend. After a long day out we knew we would come back to a home from home with everything we could need or want, lovely comfortable bed and so quiet! We can't wait to return again next year and in the meantime we have our little Blue Waters Lodge duck who came home with us to go on adventures! I almost didn't want to give such a strong recommendation as I want to keep this lovely little find to ourselves! Don't hesitate to book.

The Lodge is in a quiet area with easy access to all the amenities in Paignton. Julia and Iain were very warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean and had everything you would need. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choice. We took our dog with us and she was catered for perfectly. We will definitely be staying here again and can understand why they have won numerous awards. We would highly recommend Blue Waters Lodge.

A super short walk to the beach and attractions. Our wonderful hosts couldn't do enough for us! Such a lovely couple who are so accommodating. Our room was decorated really nice, and the whole b&b was spotlessly clean! The food was excellent and plentiful. Bar was excellent value. There is so much equipment for guests to borrow, free of charge. Both hosts are extremely knowedsble about the local area and activities. We went as a couple of part of a group of 12 and we will return as a family of 5 next year too! I've never been so impressed with a b&b and highly recommend. Thank you to our wonderful, caring hosts who went above & beyond consistently!

We have stayed multiple times at Bluewaters Lodge over the last few years, each time we have been welcomed by the hosts Julia and Iain who have always gone above and beyond to make our time there the best it can be, whether its a weekend break or an extended stay. The breakfasts are fantastic with a wide choice of options to suit all tastes and they definitely set you up for the day ahead. The rooms have always been very clean and tidy with everything you need for a great stay from fresh clean towels and bedding to little welcoming extras, the bar, dining room and sitting room are also well kept and welcoming. Thanks to Julia and Iains suggestions we have seen and experienced more that the area has to offer in the last few years than in the last 30+ of visiting, great walks, days out or sampling local restaurants & eateries. Nothing is too much trouble and we hope to be staying here for many years to come. Absolutely outstanding.

Iain cooked a lovely breakfast it was like being at the Ritz, he can cook for me anytime. Location is excellent 2 minutes away from town and beach, we took our little dog Lola, she was made very welcome. Will be definitely going again, 101 percent.
